JMH Weiss, Inc was founded in 1956 in San Jose, California. The firm serves the land development industry for both public and private land development projects. During the first two decades, the firm built a reputation of excellence in the residential arena, specifically with custom lots in Santa Clara County. However, over the years, development expansions broadened the focus to provide expertise in all areas of land development. The firm now provides professional consulting for municipal and public works projects, master planning of private developments including design of roads, infrastructure, and subdivisions as well as commercial and industrial business parks.
In 1996, Kevin R. Weiss was named President and CEO of the firm. Kevin holds Professional licenses in Civil Engineering as well as Land Surveying and has over 20 years experience. He is a graduate of Penn State University with degrees in Math, Physics, and Civil Engineering.
Kevin’s experience started in the Washington DC metropolitan area where he successfully entitled and developed hundreds of acres, including numerous projects in Tyson’s Corner Virginia. Kevin relocated to California in 1989 and has continued his professional service in the same manner throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Today the firm manages large development projects from entitlement services through construction management. |
